The bones of an old City courtyard — brick walls, a brass-topped bar, deep booths in oxblood leather — rebuilt as a local. Candles on every table after six. Bartenders who know your order by the third visit. No dress code, no bouncer, no guestlist.
It looks like somewhere you’d need to know someone to get into. You don’t. Walk in off the square, pull up a stool, stay as long as you like. Drinks from midday, a charcoal kitchen until eleven, and every match of the World Cup on the big screen through the summer.
